Auto-Pedestrian Accident with Mother and Two KidsThursday evening a mom and her two kids were taken to the hospital after being struck by a car in West Houston.

The collision occurred around 6:45 p.m. A woman with her 3-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter were crossing the street on Westpark between Briarpark and Woodchase when a vehicle crashed into them. The boy received CPR on the scene and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. He is expected to survive. The mother and daughter were also taken to the hospital for a checkup and are doing well.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene. The crash remains under investigation to determine if the driver will be charged.
