Car Splits in Half

HOUSTON (October 30, 2018)– Authorities report a wreck happened on I-45 North and Rankin around 11:00 p.m. on Monday night.

An 18-wheeler was parked on the shoulder of the freeway when a car crashed into the trailer. The impact caused the vehicle to split in half.

The driver of the car was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the truck did not suffer any injuries.

The driver of the vehicle has not been identified. The crash remains under investigation and police reports will be made available in ten days.
