Fatal Hit and Run Accident
HOUSTON (October 4, 2018) -The Harris County Sheriff’s office is looking for the driver of a black SUV involved in a crash that killed a motorcyclist on I-45 North early Thursday morning.

The hit-and-run accident blocked I-45’s southbound lanes near FM 1960 for several hours. According to officers, the motorcyclist was entering the freeway when the crash occurred in the on-ramp. The rider was wearing a helmet, but died on the scene.

A driver who was passing by saw the bike and called police. Authorities are looking for a newer black GMC Terrain or a similar SUV with damage caused by the accident.

The crash remains under investigation and police reports will be made available in ten days.
