motorcycle crash

TEXAS CITY (October 29, 2018)– Two people died Saturday after a major motorcycle crash in Texas City.

The accident happened around 12:30 p.m. at the Mall of the Mainland.

According to the Texas City Police Department, a 2008 black Nissan Rogue was attempting to turn into the Mall of the Mainland parking lot when a Harley Davidson motorcycle collided into it.

A 63-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman were on the motorcycle. Both were ejected from the bike due to the impact of the collision. They later died at UTMB Galveston. The names have not been released. Three people were in the Nissan Rouge were checked by EMS for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation and police reports will be made available in ten days.
