Quinn Carlis pronounced deadOn Tuesday, October 30 a man was critically injured in a crash in north Houston.

The car accident occurred around 4:00 p.m. at 3600 Laura Koppe Road. The driver of a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was traveling northbound in the 8900 block of the U.S. Highway 59 service road. A yellow Hummer H3 was traveling eastbound on Laura Koope Road.  The driver of the pickup truck ran the red light at the intersection of Laura Koppe Road and collided with the yellow Hummer H3 then struck a utility pole.

The driver of the pickup truck was Salvador Garcia, 20, along with passengers Edward Ewy, 17, Andy Romero, 15, and Rafael Herrera, 17. The driver and the passengers were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital.

Quinn Carlis was the driver of the Hummer. He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital and was pronounced dead on Thursday, November 15, 2018.

The crash remains under investigation to determine if charges will be filed.
