child-life-flighted-crashFRIENDSWOOD (October 26, 2o18)– Friday afternoon a single car crash sent an 11-month old transported by Life Flight to a local hospital.

At 12:34 p.m. Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to an auto accident in Friendswood at the 15400 block of Hope Village Road near Clear Brook High School. A white sedan landed in a sewer ditch with damage to the front bumper. An infant was in a car seat but sustained injuries. The baby was transported by Life Flight to a local hospital. It is unknown what caused the car wreck, but according to the authorities, the driver, who is the child’s mother, is suspected of a DWI.

The crash remains under investigation and a police accident report will be available within ten days.
