hazmat spill near Brookshire
BROOKSHIRE (October 8, 2018) -Early Monday morning, an overturned truck and hazmat spill had I-10 westbound lanes closed near Brookshire.

At this time it is unknown how the truck accident occurred causing the hazmat spill. Motorists are advised to detour to FM 359/1458 over the Brazos River and then connect back to I-10 near Sealy to save 30-45 minutes on their commute.

There have been no reports mentioned about the truck driver’s condition or other vehicles involved. The crash remains under investigation.
